I'm not sure what to say about this book...normally I love this series and this author but something was just off with this one for me. It's still a solid read, good chemistry between the H/h and fun to read about the weddings, babies and pregnancies of the Men of Midnight, but that edge of your seat feeling I usually get with this series was lacking. The ending seemed very abrupt and unfinished and there was no real resolution with the true villain in this book. There were scenes relating to him arranging for the death of a political figure in the middle but then...nothing. The death seemed important and would be key to identifying the mastermind behind the entire storyline, then was never discovered by the ASI group. I'm guessing the next one will somehow pick up the storyline, but if so, it was not very well done. Hoping for some answers with the next book.Product details

I read everything Lisa Marie Rice writes. She is always good for a few hours of escape. I especially love the Midnight series, especially Midnight Angel. The guys at ASI and their ladies are the white hats, come to save the day, every time. Just fabulous.
I always pre-order her books I am never disappointed I wish you could write faster but it does give me something to look forward to this is another good book please read the series in order you will enjoy it more but it can be read as a stand-alone
I've been waiting for Nick and Kay's story and I wasn't disappointed! The heat between these too was explosive. Plus I really enjoyed the science in this one. The threat in this one is something you can actually imagine. I hope Matt is set up to be our next " Man of Midnight".
This is the sixth installment of Rice's Men of Midnight series.....did I miss number five somehow?! Although this is an interesting read, it is not as good as the previous ones in the series; however, it is a pleasant read and should be added to your bookshelf. Lisa Marie Rice is an automatic buy for me and she is very, very good at plot development, characterization, dialogue, description. You won't be disappointed in anything she writes.
Lisa Marie Rice can do no wrong.
Midnight Fever is not as strong as some of her Midnight books as her formula here didn't gel quite as well as it should.
We have the requisite brainy heroine on the run from the evil doers who is protected by the ever-present yummy and uber-alpha hero. Nick Mancino, awesome name, just didn't sell it to me.
If you want the best of the best, the read Rice's "Midnight Man" the one that started it all or "Midnight Angel", a heartbreaker Beauty and the Beast story.
I love Nick and have been waiting for his story since he appeared with Felicity and Metal..There is definitely action, romance, a super alpha SEAL and hot sex!.I like the strong women in Rice's stories who don't hang around waiting to be rescued. At the same time, Nick and ASI are not only protective but proactive as evidenced by the Grange!! It may have also introduced us to the next male in this great series.
The science and technology in this series keep these stories cutting edge-domestic terrorism, bio-warfare, taking down the electrical grid...all too plausible.
The end Nick needed a better game plan-Joe's already been there and done that!
The Sixth installment in Men of Midnight Series is a real thriller!!! Dr Kay Hudson of the C.D.C. who we first met in "Midnight Promises" has discovered that there is something bad going down in the world of bio weapons after her best friend is murdered and sends her all that she she knows on an encrypted flash drive arriving after her death. But after a hot night of passion with Nick Mancino she slips away to pass on the info to an investigative reporter who breaks story's bringing big companies to justice. But things go horribly wrong. Now she finds herself running for her life with only Nick standing between her and certain death! This was a very enjoyable read with plenty of action and passion. I love Lisa Marie Rice's strong smart women and stronger protective hero's! She never disappoints!
